Strengthening Haitian Families
Through EffectiveBlackParentingProgram
Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration
(SAMHSA) to assess the needs of the Boston Haitain
Community for Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services. This program
is about Strengthening Haitian Families for the prevention of Substance
Abuse, domestic violence, juvenile delinquency, and foster effective
communication, effective praise, and positive self esteem. The program
is 45 hours sessions, meets three times a week for five weeks. The program
teaches parents how to raise healthy and proud children.

CAN PARTICIPATE?
- Haitian/Haitian-American
- Parents living
with their children ages 2- 18yrs
- At least 8 yrs
of schooling
- Ability to
Read English
WHAT ARE BENEFITS?
- The Training is free
and all educational Material are provided
- Upon completion a
reward of $150.00 for your participation
